IE 8 Customization
Hi everyone.
How many of you wished they could change some settings of the browser which always annoyed you ? Or how many wished others would not be able to change the settings ? well, you got lucky now !
Generally ,you do get a choice of custom installation in browsers, but they are merely a farce compared to the amazing range of features being offered by the Internet Explorer Administration Kit.
Leta take a peek at how to use Internet Explorer Administration Kit. (IEAK from now on ..)
1. Firstly, go and download the IEAK from this site :
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/bb219517.aspx
2. To install this, you need to have IE 8 installed. Installation will proceed normally and end.
3. Start the internet explorer customization wizard from the start menu.
Follow the steps in the IEAK documentation that comes along. ( simple ones, really !!)
4. Build the custom package. The settings are stored in a file with an extension *.INS
5. If you have further changes to do, use the IEAK profile manager , load the INS file and make changes to it.
One of the cool things is that you can brand your version, logos, labels and everything else.

And this is only the beginning. You can tweak almost all the settings of the IE , to any purpose, package it simply and redistribute it. This has three main modes of use
